What is Warehousing & Fulfillment

The operational backbone of your global supply chain.

Warehousing and fulfillment is the end-to-end process of receiving, storing, managing, picking, packing, and shipping your products to customers or distribution points — reliably, at scale, and on time. IOR Global provides fully managed warehousing and fulfillment from strategically positioned facilities across key trade corridors. We handle the physical, operational, and administrative complexity — so your team focuses on growth, not logistics.

Why you need it

Six scenarios where businesses need a warehousing partner

No in-country storage

Shipping directly from origin adds days to every order. IOR Global warehouses position your stock close to end customers so fulfilment is fast and cost-efficient.

Rapid volume growth

Scaling your own warehouse infrastructure takes time and capital. Our network scales instantly with your order volume — up or down — with no fixed overhead.

Complex SKU management

High SKU counts, product variants, and serial number tracking demand a WMS purpose-built for accuracy. We manage thousands of SKUs without errors.

Seasonal demand spikes

Peak season surges overwhelm fixed capacity. Our flexible warehousing model absorbs seasonal spikes with overflow space and temporary labour on demand.

Cross-border distribution

Distributing across multiple countries from a single origin adds risk and cost. Our regional hubs simplify cross-border flows and reduce duty exposure.

Returns management

Returns handling is operationally intensive. We manage the entire reverse logistics flow — inspection, restocking, or disposal — so returns never clog your supply chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about warehousing & fulfillment

Everything you need to know before getting started.
What is 3PL warehousing and how does it differ from owning my own warehouse?
Third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing means outsourcing your storage and fulfillment operations to a specialist provider — in this case IOR Global. Unlike owning your own warehouse, you pay only for the space and services you actually use, with no capital tied up in property, racking, or permanent headcount. You benefit from our infrastructure, WMS technology, and trained workforce while your team focuses entirely on your core business.
How quickly can you onboard my inventory and start fulfilling orders?
Standard onboarding takes 5–10 business days, covering WMS setup, system integration with your sales channels, inbound receiving, and staff briefing on your product requirements. For straightforward SKU profiles with existing documentation, we can begin fulfilling orders within a week of contract signature. Complex integrations or regulated goods may require additional lead time, which we will confirm during assessment.
Do you integrate with e-commerce platforms and ERPs?
Yes. Our WMS integrates with major e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and Amazon, as well as ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics. Orders flow automatically from your sales channels into our system for immediate processing, and stock levels are updated in real time back to your platform. Custom API integration is available for proprietary systems.
What types of products can you store and fulfil?
We handle ambient, temperature-controlled, and high-security goods across a wide range of categories including consumer goods, electronics, pharmaceuticals, garments, automotive parts, and FMCG. We are not able to store explosives, live animals, or certain hazardous materials. Contact us with your specific product type and we will confirm suitability and any special handling requirements.
How do you handle returns and reverse logistics?
We manage the complete returns process — receiving returned goods, logging them against the original order, inspecting for damage or defects, and then restocking, quarantining, or disposing of items according to your pre-agreed returns policy. Full returns reporting is available in your WMS dashboard. Returns handling is billed per unit processed, with no minimum volumes required.
Can you handle temperature-controlled or cold chain storage?
Yes. We operate GDP-compliant cold chain facilities across key locations, with continuous temperature monitoring, alarm systems, and full temperature logs for every storage period. Our cold chain capabilities cover pharmaceutical, medical, and food-grade products. We can provide temperature certificates and audit documentation for regulatory submissions or customer requirements.
